Timber Lane Christmas Tree Farm

Timber Lane Christmas Tree Farm field trips are fun and educational.  Children will learn about our Christmas trees, from planting through harvesting.  They will learn why cutting Christmas trees is actually good for our environment.  A look at the trees in our pre-cut tree barn and in the field will include identifying different type of trees, the importance of the trees to the air we breathe, and what to do with your tree when Christmas is over.  We also go through the routine of how we display the trees for our customers, shaking a tree to remove dead needles and baling a tree for the ride to your home.

Following the tour, the children can warm up as they sing songs, and enjoy hot chocolate and a candy cane.  Coloring books entitled "Welcome to our Christmas Tree Farm" are given to each child.  Each child will also be able to pick out an ornament to have as a special keepsake from their trip to Timber Lane Christmas Tree Farm.
